Rive Gauche has found success in Europe through several projects, and has already started signing important deals in Latin America for The Dog Whisperer, a project which allowed it to distribute an array of other products in the region.

ASIA
Jon Kramer, Rive Gauche's CEO, spoke to ttv about the company's decision to hire Tomas Silva in 2008, who took the Rive Gauche brand and its content to Latin America. In addition, the company also appointed Bryan Gabourie to manage its business in Asia. "That region is going through a similar growth faze as Latin America, and we are very excited about that," he said.

The company's latest deals are spread across the entire region: it delivers documentaries and scripted content in territories such as South Korea, Thailand and China.

VOD
The company is also investing in new video streaming platforms: "I've always admired new technologies," he said. That's why Rive Gauche is now focusing on these new platforms, and has already signed deals with several VOD channels. Yet, the company's also being quite careful: "In terms of VOD, we've been very careful. We are happy to do VOD as long as it's tactically secure. We want to make sure we get our fare share of the revenues," he said.

Rive Gauche also signed a major deal with Telecinco in Spain for one of its DTT channels: "The Spanish market has become very important for us, because of the growing DTT industry," he said, while also stating the company's been having excellent results in Australia and expects to sign additional deals in Japan, where ten new channels will premiere soon.

LATAM
As far as Latin America goes, Rive Gauche continues to sign deals, selling new programs to several regional networks. "Our products are embraced in Latin America, and we've developed excellent relationships with several territories," said Kramer. "Pan-regional networks are excellent clients, and we are very happy they appreciate Rive Gauche's content," he concluded.
