"Movies have always been our DNA at TNT, in addition to live events, such as the Brit Awards, the Oscars, the Grammies, and the Golden Globes. The company's original content includes the premiere of Falling Skies' second season in June -produced by Steven Spielberg- which was seen by over 5.9 million people in its first episode on TNT, becoming the highest rated cable TV premiere in 2011. In addition, TNT is currently developing new projects in Brazil: "everyone knows about the new media law in Brazil. It's because of it that we've started to produce local content. I think it will probably premiere in 2013," he said.
