The best partner for operators. That's how David Guerra, sales and marketing VP for Latin America and the Caribbean at the Erotic Networks, described his company, which he explained offers one of the larges revenue shares in the industry.
"The idea is to become the best partner for operators, providing a solution with the highest returns," said Guerra. According to the executive, operators must constantly invest in new platforms and means of distribution for their content, which don't always guarantee an immediate return, becoming more of a tool to promote loyalty than to attract new subscribers.
The executive believes, with The Erotic Networks' content, this equation can be changed. "Our content in every platform has the highest return for the operators and our business model is practically based on revenue share. We believe in our product so much that we know it will work well. If we are given a chance to enter, we know we will generate important revenue. That's why we are the best partner for cable operators in the region," he said.

As far as new projects go, the programmer is currently promoting its networks Real, Xtacy, Juicy and the gay channel Manhandle, while launching Quickie, a network devoted to short formats with 30-second movies.
"The new channel is called Quikie, and it's a fast, 30-second format, which we launched in the US and did quite well. This type of content increases the amount of users. Sometimes, the price for a long movie can be limiting. With short content that's cheaper, people take more chances and try new products. After that, they usually return," he said.
The executive also highlighted the company's regional expansion, which has just arrived in Brazil, while having offices in Miami and preparing to inaugurate additional ones in Mexico and Buenos Aires.
Last but not least, Guerra spoke about the way The Erotic Networks adapts to new platforms, making it a more than interesting option to find multi-platform content. "In these changing times, in which technology is developing very fast, with emerging platforms that go beyond conventional content distribution, we already have acquired great experience. We've worked with VOD content for over 14 years with a 100% penetration in the US, and we understand consumption habits and user behavior. Our offer is not limited to VOD or traditional networks. We offer multi-platform content that compliments each other. We provide a complete solution," he said.
