A new Expo TEPAL has come to an end and as always, it's time to see what was left behind. So ttv spoke to the organization's president, Nicolás González Revilla, who highlighted the excellent attendance and high-quality conferences.

"It's been a great event. We had more attendees than last year, both programmers and operators. We are pleased with the results and thankful for all the support we've been given," he said.

According to the executive, the event welcomed close to 600 guests; a much higher number than last year's Expo TEPAL. Yet, the event will have a different venue next year as it once again returns to Panama.

TEPAL Continues to Grow

"Next year we decided to do it in Panama and are currently determining the exact dates. We try to switch places every two years or so and go to easy-access venues. So we thought Panama is a great option," he said.

The executive believes the exposition met his goals and had "very good presentations."

"Conferences have been great. We've discussed important issues for today's industry such as piracy, growth and OTT platforms," he said.

Lastly, he explained OTT will be the main topic discussed in the next few months, and stressed the growth of the lower classes as a great challenge for the industry to address.
