| Netflix to Take Lilyhammer to UK and Ireland |

SevenOne International announced Netflix has acquired the streaming rights for Lilyhammer for the UK and Ireland.
|
SevenOne International's series is reaching new destinations as Netflix acquired the rights to distribute Lilyhammer in the UK and Ireland. The online company already owned the rights for the US, Canada and Latin America, and will also co-produce its second season.
Lilyhammer revolves around NY mobster Frank 'The Fixer' (Steven Van Zandt) who moves to Norway and hides in a small town called Lillehammer.
"Many Netflix members in the U.S., Canada and Latin America have discovered Lilyhammer and are loving it," said Ted Sarandos, CCO at Netflix. "We're excited to also bring Lilyhammer to Netflix members in the UK and Ireland and confident that it will build a sizeable audience."
