| Netflix Expands Business in LatAm Through Deal with 20th Century Fox |

Online video services are spreading across the region. In its mission to grow in Latin America, Netflix continues to add new titles to its content catalog.

Netflix is aware that in order to grow in Latin America and be more tan just another player, it must add new titles to its catalog of movies and series. Its offer has more than doubled since it premiered in September 2011, expanding onto game consoles, smart TVs, tablets, smartphones and Apple TV.
This Wednesday, May 9th, Netflix announced its recent deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, which allows the service to offer clients in Latin America -including Brazil- an important amount of movies and series from the studio.
The list of titles includes How I Met Your Mother, Glee and Bones, which will be available starting July 15; as well as previous seasons of 24, Prison Break, The X-Files and Arrested Development. The deal also includes classic movies by Twentieth Century Fox, such as Los Caballeros las Prefieren Rubias, Wall Street: Power and Greed and Enredos de Oficina; all of which will be available on July 1. The deal also establishes additional movies and series will be included in the upcoming years.
"Since Latin America is such an important territory as far as our series' fans go, our partnership with Netflix is a major opportunity to bring these fans closer to their beloved characters," said Gina Brogi, executive VP, pay TV and VOD, Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution.
"Our alliance with Twentieth Century Fox continues to get stronger and benefit Netflix's members across the globe," said Jason Ropell, content acquisitions VP at Netflix.
