Two years after creating its commercial division, Fox Telecolombia is now expanding its business internationally, participating in events such as MIPCOM in Cannes or the LA Screenings in Los Angeles, as well as NATPE Budapest, where it's present for the first time.

"Our first goal after creating our commercial division was to distribute a catalog that for the first time was shaping up to be vast and diverse. In that first stage we aimed at a market that seemed logical for us, mainly Latin America and the Hispanic US markets. Once we acquired enough experience, we decided it was time to travel overseas and participate in events such as MIPCOM and NATPE Budapest," said Ana María Barreto, commercial director at Fox Telecolombia.

As it takes its first steps in new territories, the company doesn't rule out any meeting that will allow them to distribute its catalog in other places in the short run: "First of all, we want to commercialize our taped content, yet are also presenting our formats and looking for local partners to develop new co-production projects," she said.

The company's most recent projects, presented at NATPE Budapest, include Tabú, Kdabra, Lynch, El Capo, La Mariposa and La Dama de Troya. The company will make its next appearance at MIPCOM in October.
