| Inscriptions are Open for Expotoons 2012 |

The region's most important animation festival is being held on October 23-25 for the sixth time. Inscriptions will remain open until August 31.

The region's biggest event in animation already has a date: the sixth Expotoons will be held on October 23-25 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Inscriptions for the event's Official Competition will remain open from July 4 to August 31.

Same as every year, the award has five categories: Feature Films, Short films, TV Series, Advertising and Dissertation Projects. The selected projects will be published in the Collection Yearbook which is distributed year-round at the main local and international events, and will be presented at the festival.
A panel of industry professionals will judge the contest.
Expotoons 2012's organizers are also inviting companies to be part of a directory of producers, animators, professionals, creators, broadcasters and animated content providers. This time, a new section will be included called "Who's Who in Argentine Animation".
