Game Of Thrones: Programme of the Year
 
The Television Critics Association (TCA) awarded the HBO series with the highest honor, as Homeland and Louie won in other categories.

HBO series Game Of Thrones continues to win statues with every new awards ceremony.

This time, the series -recently nominated for an Emmy award- won the top prizes at the 28th annual Television Critics Association (TCA) gala awards.

The series was named Programme of the Year, beating other major series such as Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey, Mad Men and Homeland.

"The past year in television offered a wide variety of standout programming. Viewers were treated to shows that were fearless, thought-provoking and original, spanning far beyond the traditional conventions," said TCA president Candace Havens in a statement.

In addition, Homeland won Outstanding New Programme, Breaking Bad took Outstanding Achievement in a Drama; and Louie by Louis CK took its first TCA prize for comedy series.
