Distribution company Spiral International landed in the LA Screenings to promote a series that promises a new outlook on the Kennedy family in its context. An entertaining drama rather than a documentary, The Kennedys takes taboo elements associated with this iconic US family and turns them into fiction or a movie event, without missing its members' darker sides.

Its passionate storyline seeks to unveil the truth behind these mythical characters that reached the highest spheres of power in one of the world's leading countries. The show features the Kennedy family to its full extent: from JFK and his addiction to pain-killers and hidden love affairs, the not-so-happy Jackie Kennedy who lived a fake life for the cameras and the public eye and even Bob Kennedy, the graceful leader of the murdered president's family.
This thrilling story shows that these power and media celebrities were nothing but human beings that went through their torments under a shade of idealized appearance built during a particular time in history that transformed them into a Pandora box.
"We are rising the stakes by releasing this TV event for Latin America," Zasha Robles, head of international operations at Spiral International, told ttv in suite 702 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.
The series was dubbed by famous local artistic talents for the Latin American audience and popular telenovela actors and actresses dubbed the show in Portuguese for the Brazilian market.
The Kennedys will demystify the story of these powerful US personalities, portraying them as a family that had problems like any another. This is definitely one of Spiral International's most important highlights available to the pan-regional market.
