Mipcom 2012 is getting closer it's already shaping up to be a major event. The market, organized by Reen Midem, will be held on October 8-11 in Cannes. The organization announced Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager, History and Lifetime Networks; and Mark Burnett, President, One Three Media, will kick-off the Media Mastermind keynote series.
Under Nancy Dubuc's leadership since 2007, History has become a market leader. Available in over 150 countries and more than 300 million homes in 37 languages, the cable network is the leader in the US among adults 25-34, and the leading factual brand on all demographics.

Since 2012, the executive has also lead the re-launch of Lifetime Networks as an entertainment brand, engaging audiences through its its original programming, with movies, dramas and non-scripted series.
Meanwhile, four time Emmy Award-winner Mark Burnett has produced over 2,200 hours of TV content, which airs in over 70 countries around the world. Some of the series he currently produces with One Three Media, his joint-venture with Hearst Corporation, includes Survivor (CBS), The Voice (NBC), The Celebrity Apprentice (NBC), Shark Tank (ABC), Stars Earn Stripes (NBC) and The Job (CBS).
In addition, Burnett has a solid presence in several award ceremonies. Since 2007, he produces the MTV Movie Awards, The People's Choice Awards, The Video Game Awards (Spike) and in 2001 he produced the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards.
He's currently producing -alongside his wife, actress and producer Roma Downey- a docu-drama series based on the Bible, which will premiere on History in 2013 and will be distributed by One Three Media.
