"We are hosting MTV's most important event in Latin America, World Stage, in Mexico for the third time in a row, which this time is moving to Monterrey," said Eduardo Lebrija, GM at Viacom International Media Networks The Americas, to ttv.

The event will feature renowned music stars and will be broadcast in over 65 MTV networks across the globe. Approximately 14,000 people are expected to attend, and the show will generate an estimated US$ 8 million in revenue through ad sales.

"The event will take place in Monterrey on September 12, at the Arena Monterrey. We've had tremendous success in the past two editions and I believe this will be the best World Stage in Latin America," he said.

"It's important to highlight the fact that several local artists have participated in the event. It's not just a concert since it includes a lot of broadcasting projects, in this case from Monterrey," said Lebrija. In addition, he stated special segments called MTV Busk were taped in Monterrey. Featuring Ha*Ash and Los Claxons. "These segments will be traveling across the Hispanic US world through MTV3, and through MTV Latin America," he said. "We expect it to be a major event to showcase Monterrey to the world with great success," he concluded.

The press conference also featured state representatives from Nuevo León and the members of Ha*Ash and Los Claxons, who shared their experiences when shooting the special segments ahead of MTV World Stage Monterrey.
