TV, Telcos Largest Street Advertising Spenders in Argentina
 
According to data compiled by Alberto Scopesi & Co., TV channels, telecommunication companies and radios were the sectors that recorded the highest investment in street advertising during 2010.

Investment in street advertising had a substantial increase in the Argentine market.
 
Data surveyed by Alberto Scopesi & Co. shows that Argentina's ad spending in public places of the city of Buenos Aires and the Greater Buenos Aires area grew by 12% in 2010, accounting for an overall investment of US$ 373,5 million with a gross increase of up to US$39 million.

According to data released by Adlatina on the same report, the biggest spenders on street advertising were telephone companies (7%), TV channels and radio stations (7%), followed by clothing brands (7%) and car manufacturers.

Ad spending by government campaigns, both from the Presidency and the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, contributed toward a substantial portion of total investments, ranking among the top ten advertisers. In the private sector, Coca Cola Argentina, Telecóm, Telefónica and América Movil were the largest investing companies for street advertising.
