After eight months of shooting in Colombian studios, Mexico's version of US show Grey's Anatomy -produced by TV Azteca and Disney Media Networks Latin America- is finally on the air on Azteca 13.

Azteca 13 premiered the Mexican version of A Corazón Abierto on November 9 in the 8:30 PM timeslot. This adaptation of US hit TV drama Grey's Anatomy by Disney ABC Studios follows the story of a group of doctors, nurses and their patients in a Mexican hospital.
Directed by Raúl Quintanilla and supervised by renowned screenwriter Fernando Gaitán -who wrote the Colombian version of Ugly Betty-, the series stars actors Sergio Besáñez and Iliana Fox. This 80-episode TV series - telenovela hybrid can be considered a milestone in TV Azteca's and Disney Media Networks Latin America's production track-record. Both companies spent eight months shooting it in the Colombian studios built for the RCN version.
