The show was not only the highest rated show of the day in Argentina, but it caused its competitors to reach all-time lows: Cantando 2012 scored a 12.4 rating and Jorge Lanata's Periodismo para todos registered a 15.1 average.
In addition, the show became a trending topic on Twitter.
The Voice -adapted in Argentina as La Voz- is already present in 140 countries with over 45 versions.
In Latin America, the show is present in Chile, Colombia and Mexico, where a second season will premiere soon.
The show is another successful one for Telefe, who was Argentina's leading network for the sixth month in a row, surpassing El Trece by 7 points.
