The Voice Premieres in Argentina
 
Talpa Distribution's format made its debut in the country and scored a 23.9 rating that spiked to 27.5 on Telefe, becoming the highest rated show on Sunday night.

The Voice continues to travel across the globe, adding new territories to the list of places it's found success in. Talpa Distribution's format premiered in Argentina on Telefe, and became the highest rated show of the day.

Hosted by Alejandro Marley and featuring local stars such as Alex, Soledad Pastorutti, Ale Sergi and Juliana Gattas (Miranda), and José Luis "El Puma" Rodríguez, the show reached an average 23.9 rating that at times spiked up to 27.5.

The show was not only the highest rated show of the day in Argentina, but it caused its competitors to reach all-time lows: Cantando 2012 scored a 12.4 rating and Jorge Lanata's Periodismo para todos registered a 15.1 average.

In addition, the show became a trending topic on Twitter.

The Voice -adapted in Argentina as La Voz- is already present in 140 countries with over 45 versions.

In Latin America, the show is present in Chile, Colombia and Mexico, where a second season will premiere soon.

The show is another successful one for Telefe, who was Argentina's leading network for the sixth month in a row, surpassing El Trece by 7 points.
