The Simpsons' 500th episode is coming to Fox this Sunday in Latin America.
The moment fans across the region have been waiting for is coming on May 27 at 8:30 PM: Fox is premiering The Simpson's 500th episode titled "At long last leave", featuring Julian Assange, the creator of Wikileaks, as a special guest.
In this milestone episode, the yellow family is banned from Springfield. After a war between China and the US is announced -which later turns out to be a lie- the Simpsons hide in their basement. Once they come out, they discover they've been purposely isolated since the town is planning to do something, after being left bankrupt because of Homer's crazy antics, Bart's destructive pranks and Lisa's environmental initiatives.

Before the 500th episode is premiered, Fox will air a Simpsons marathon starting at 6:30 PM, with the series' four anniversary episodes: Bart gets Skinner fired, Homer turns Springfield into a dump, Marge becomes a bodybuilder, and Lisa and Ken Brockman attempt to reveal a scam.
Across its 23 years on the air, The Simpsons has featured several special guests, including Michael Jackson, Stephen Hawking, Ringo Starr, Elizabeth Taylor, Meryl Streep, Britney Spears, Stephen King and Paul McCartney.
