Yups Joins Movistar TV Chile
 
Through the pay TV service, the channel owned by Media Networks and Media Enterprises LLC, together with Cris Morena and RGB Entertainment, will reach teen audiences in Chile in July.

Media Networks announced a deal with Telefónica in Chile to add the regional network Yups to Movistar TV Chile's offer, starting July 1.

"We are pleased with the addition of Yups in Chile through Movistar, and we know this new market will embrace it just like Peru and Ecuador, where it's available through Movistar TV and CNT," said Ricardo Guzmán, head of distribution at Media Networks.

"Adding Yups to our programming offer compliments the content we provide to Chilean audiences with a leading regional network designed for teen audiences," said Rodolfo Mardonez, content deputy manager at Movistar Chile.

Yups programming includes hit prodictions by Cris Morena and RGB Entertainment aimed at teen audiences, such as Alma Pirata, Casi Ángeles, Rebelde Way and Floricienta.

Yups is a joint-venture between Media Networks and Media Enterprises LLC, with Cris Morena and RGB Entertainment. The network is regionally distributed by Media Networks.
